Sobre mí
From the central of China to the laboratories of southern Spain, Zhonghao Chang has followed a passion for understanding the world through physics. Now a PhD researcher in the Department of Condensed Matter Physics at the Universidad de Sevilla, Zhonghao is part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Network MolCal, an ambitious European collaboration on Molecule-Based Magneto/Electro/Mechano-Calorics. His doctoral project, Molecule-Based Magnetocaloric and Multicaloric Materials, blends experimental techniques and theoretical modelling to explore magnetic phase transitions that drive caloric effects. By focusing on the precise magnetic characterization of molecule-based magnetocaloric and barocaloric materials, his work aims to unlock new possibilities for energy-efficient, solid-state cooling technologies—from near-ambient to very low temperatures. Beyond the lab, Zhonghao enjoys sports, discovering new cultures, and finding inspiration in everyday details—a balance of curiosity and creativity that fuels both his science and life.
