Sobre mí
From Beijing, China to Seville, Spain, Zhe Cui has pursued a passion for understanding the world through physics. Now a PhD researcher in the Department of Condensed Matter Physics at the Universidad de Sevilla, he is part of the Multi-property Compositionally Complex Magnets for Advanced Energy Applications project (“CoCoMag”). His doctoral work focuses on using first-principles calculations and machine learning to explore and optimize magnetocaloric materials, aiming to unlock new possibilities for energy-efficient, solid-state cooling technologies—especially near room temperature. Outside science, Zhe enjoys reading, exploring new cultures, and finding inspiration in the small details of everyday life that spark fresh ideas for both his work and his journey.
