Sobre mí

Miguel Ángel Gómez-Nieto, es Catedrático de Universidad del área de Ciencias de la Computación e Inteligencia Artificial y está adscrito al Departamento de Informática y Análisis Numérico de la Universidad de Córdoba.
Licenciado en Ciencias en 1980 y Doctor en Ciencias Químicas en 1982, es miembro del grupo ISCBD desde su constitución en 1990. Desde 1981 ha venido desarrollando sus actividades docentes e investigadoras en computación, siendo Director del Servicio de Informática de la Universidad de Córdoba desde 1986 hasta 1989.
Sus responsabilidades docentes abarcan las disciplinas de Bases de Datos, Ingeniería del Software y Análisis y Diseño de Sistemas Informáticos.
Sus líneas de investigación de interés se enfocan sistemas pervasivos, ambientes inteligentes, tecnología NFC y móvil, representación del conocimiento, y el estudio de nuevas soluciones computacionales en química, quimiometría, QSPR/QSAR, sistemas de ayuda a la enseñanza, algoritmos y modelos de clasificación y recuperación, entre otras.
