Georgios Kapsalis works at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. He is a member of the SELFIEforTEACHERS team, the self-reflection tool that supports educators to reflect upon their digital competence. He has participated to study visits and education projects and before joining JRC he was School Adviser, School Principal and Adult Educator for non-typical education settings. He awarded his PhD from the University of Bristol in 2001, received his MEd in Education from the same University in 1996 and his MEd in Adult Learning from the Open University of Greece in 2015. His research interests focus on teachers’ digital competence, students’ learning processes, adult education, conflict resolution and teachers’ professional development.
