Aritz Gorostiza Cerviño is a PhD researcher at the University of Malaga, Spain, specializing in the influence of interest groups or lobbies on European media. His academic contributions include three scientific articles and five book chapters, through which he has explored the dynamics of media and power. In addition to his research, Aritz is a specialist in data mining, particularly in extracting information from various websites and social networks and preparing it for different algorithmic automation projects. He has developed several data mining automation systems and is also the creator of LobbySpain, a bot that aggregates information from daily media sources and tracks the presence of interest groups within them. This innovative project serves as a pilot for his doctoral thesis at the European level, showcasing his ability to combine theoretical insights with practical applications. His interdisciplinary approach has enabled him to address complex issues in media studies with cutting-edge technological solutions.
