Adelina Aleksieva-Petrova is vice dean for educational of the Faculty of Computer Systems and Technologiesat Technical University of Sofia. Her professional orientation is in e-learning and distance learning, ICT in education, the development of Internet applications and the Semantic Web. Adelina Aleksieva-Petrova graduated Ph.D. in Computer Science, complexes and networks, master degree in computer systems and she has different certificates in «Instructional design», University of Twente (Netherlands), Personal Software Process and Leading a Development Team from Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA , USA). Last decade she is actively participated as research and development in many international and national scientific projects in different computer science areas and particular in e-learning.

Integrating Open Educational Resources into Instructional Design
Resultados destacables
The most important results of my research work are inspired from my experience in different science and industry projects in research area of distance learningplatforms and tools, e-learning and instructional design. During the period 2001-2006, my research activities have been reflected in the design and implementation of one of the first integrated e-learning platforms ARCADE in Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at Sofia University “St. KlimentOhridski”. In 2005 I won 2nd place in National competition “Best e-learning content development” organized by Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Bulgaria. The next results of my research work are related from following projects results:
• IST EC FP6 IP project «TENCompetence – Building the European Network for Lifelong Competence Development», 2006-2009.
• ADOPTA – ADaptivetechnOlogy-enhanced Platform for eduTAinment, funded by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science, 2009-2011
• “Integrating E-Learning and Open Educational Resources into Classroom” – iOERc, Erasmus + Programme, Key Action 2 – Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices Strategic Partnerships for school education, 2015-2017
Vocación
I find the science in the new technologies, education, students and natural world which motivates me to continue researching.

My scientific desire is to continue my research works and results in data mining area.
