Sobre mí
My name is Muhammad Saif Ur Rehman Babar. I am a pharmacist and PhD researcher in Biomedicine at the University of Granada, Spain. My research basically aims on the preparation of functionalized hybrid nanoparticles for targeted pancreatic cancer therapy. I have expertise in nanomedicine, immunotherapy, and synthetic cell models, with practical experience in cell membrane coating and nanoparticle formulation. I have authored several scientific publications and is dedicated to advancing cancer treatment through innovative biomedical strategies
Líneas de investigación
1.Functionalized hybrid nanoparticles targeted for cancer therapy
2. Gene and RNA based nanomedicine
3.Synthesis of biomimetic green metallic nanoparticles
Resultados destacables
I successfully created eco-friendly gold nanoparticles using natural extracts from Camellia sinensis (green tea) and Cocos nucifera (coconut). These green-synthesized nanoparticles showed strong antibacterial effects against drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, needing only a small amount to stop bacterial growth (low MIC). This makes them a safe, affordable, and sustainable alternative to traditional chemical-based nanoparticles
Vocación
Science is not a field but a passion for me who drove me to do something exceptional. During my bachelor, i read alot about medicine especially the pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamic profile along with toxicity. I found that every medicine had some off targets effects. Proceeding forward, nanomedicine provides the solution of this huge problem. I started working with curiosity to make formulations more specific and less toxic.I have had experience making different kinds of nanoparticles for different kind of diseases, but cancer is the most aggressive and silent kind of illness resulting in increasing number of mortality. I geard up myself despite the setbacks, and the potential to create solutions that improve human health keeps me motivated and committed to this path.I am highly motivated for my project related to biomimetic functionalized nanoparticles who have strength to load both chemo and immunotherapy with more specificity and biocompatibility hence making this formulation an innovative of its kind.
Deseo científico
My scientific wish is to develop innovative, accessible nanomedicine-based therapies that can overcome cancer resistance and reach patients in even the most underserved parts of the world—so that cutting-edge science doesn’t stay confined to the lab, but becomes a healing reality for all
