Fernando D. Rubio-Alcalá is an academic based at the University of Huelva in Spain, where he serves as the Head of Language Policy. His primary research interests focus on foreign language acquisition, with a specific emphasis on multilingualism in tertiary education and the impact of affective factors on foreign language teaching and learning. He has extensively contributed to scholarly literature, authoring and editing works on topics ranging from self-esteem in language learning to the development and evaluation of bilingual practices in higher education settings.
