Lines of investigation

Epidemiology of leishmaniasis. Arthropod parasites and vectors.

The most notable result of your research

Blastocystis and Endolimax are the most common parasites found in faeces of children from Togo. Formol-ether concentration technique is more effective than Willis technique. P. sergenti was the more abundant in the CDC traps in Morocco.

How did you come to science and why are you still here?

I loved biology since I started my career. When I finished my master, I arrived to the department of parasitology to analyse children faeces from Togo. Currently, I am doing my thesis about leishmaniasis in Morocco and I work with a research scholarship in a Biotechnological company. I like research because you can work in many different projects and you can learn new things every day.
